SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for assisting in the development of an on-going quality control inspection system, assisting in the preparation/presentation of training programs. Supervise staff to include; recruiting and interviewing, preparing work schedules, assisting with performance evaluations, mentoring/developing, and disciplinary action. Develop and monitor applicable budgets for EHS.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Either: (A) Bachelors degree in Environmental Health, Business or related field plus 2 years experience as a Manager/Supervisor in a Public Health Sanitation/Environmental Health department required,
or (B) Associates degree in Environmental Health, Business or related field plus 4 years experience as a Manager / Supervisor in a Public Health Sanitation/Environmental Health department required,
or (C) High School degree plus 6 years experience as a Manager/Supervisor in a Public Health Sanitation/Environmental Health department required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience in managing a Union environment is preferred.
Kronos time management experience preferred.
