Geisinger is seeking an experienced PA or NP to join our NICU team at the Janet Weis Children's Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The Janet Weis Children's Hospital is the tertiary care Pediatric Center for Geisinger Health System.By working in a collaborative environment alongside highly trained neonatologists, leadership, residents, and our NICU nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and create a long-lasting career where innovation and learning are encouraged and supported. Flexible shifts – 10, 12, 16 hours
41 bed, Level IV NICU
2,000 deliveries annually
No outpatient clinic
Attending deliveries/delivery room management of all infants less than 35 weeks and other high-risk indications
Admissions including history and physical
Assessments and ongoing management of current NICU patients
Ground and air transports
Umbilical line placement
Arterial line placement
Whole body cooling for HIE
Others as applicable
Minimum of 1-year NNP or PA experience in a level III or IV NICU required
