RN House Supervisor PRN Nights Position Summary
This is a PRN position in our Nursing Administration department that will be scheduled for (1) 12-hour overnight shift every week, typically on Thursday, along with being able to cover others on PTO.
Under the supervision of Area Director, administratively coordinates and manages hospital activities on a per shift basis. The House Supervisor is responsible for providing administrative leadership, consultation and support for the patient services areas during the off-shift hours. The position provides administrative continuity to staff, patients and families while acting as a liaison for the administrator-on-call and the nursing management team.
RN HOUSE SUPERVISOR PRN NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Required: Academic degree in nursing required
Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field (Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or management)
Required: 2 Years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full time charge nurse/related position
Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. BLS
