Position Summary: The Program Manager performs advanced support and analytical work in managing, monitoring, coordinating, facilitating and tracking several programs operational initiatives and activities for commercial products related to population health operations. This position is public-facing and the incumbent will act as a liaison to commercial partners for the department. This position has responsibilities in process improvement, departmental and administrative policies and procedures, workflow developments and communication plans. The incumbent works closely with key operational leaders across various teams, both internal and external to the organization, to manage program activities; oversees direct reports; maintain implementation plan(s); communicate team decisions; resolve issues and work flow changes and prepare briefings as needed to support the successful performance of the associated program. This position requires technical skills, organization, keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communications, meeting-management skills, discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and privileged information, and development of materials in support of the program. Work situations are varied and require communication and support to internal and external stakeholders, organization, prioritization, analysis, problem solving, discretion, and leadership. This position also requires strong customer service skills.
Minimum Requirements: 6 years relevant experience required: Experience in a health care setting Experience in customer service Experience working with and communicating with Senior Leadership, Clinicians, and technical teams Three years relevant experience: Experience developing and managing relationships with commercial payers Experience developing and managing ongoing programs Population health and/or public health experience and Project/program coordination experience preferred Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity
Education/Licenses/Certifications: MHA, MBA or similar Masters degree required; additional specific experience may be substituted for education year for year
