Administrative Supervisor performs administrative leadership and management of the hospital during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Administrative Supervisor oversees patient care and staffing of all departments during assigned shifts. Administrative Supervisor ensures that the objectives and policies of the hospital are followed in accordance with departmental standards. Interacts with administrative personnel from other hospitals and regulatory agencies. Administrative Supervisor is required to work flexible hours as needed by Chief Nursing Officer.
Required: Academic degree in nursing required (Bachelors or Masters degree) Preferred: Masters degree in Nursing or related field (Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or management)
Five years progressive nursing experience in acute healthcare facility.
Experience as critical care/Emergency Room nurse preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition
Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, stressful environment
Current Florida RN License
Holds current BLS card from the American Heart Association
Holds current ACLS card from the American Heart Association within 6 months of employment
