The RN Clinic provides direct patient care, administers medications, educates, collaborates, and counsels patients and families. The RN Clinic assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families. May work in an inpatient or outpatient setting as needed.
Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate required.
May require certification in specialty area.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A bility to lift 25 pounds
O ccasional kneeling, pushing/pulling and reaching
A bility to operate a personal computer and general office equipment
A bility to deal courteously with patients
A bility to maintain effective working relationship with other employees
A ssists patients to achieve the maximum level of functioning by coordinating resources on the multidisciplinary team such as the dietitian, social worker, navigator, and outreach coordinator.
A bility to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary team with written and verbal proficiency
A bility to coordinate patient care with other interdisciplinary staff
P roficiency in clinical management of complex patients
F lexibility and multitasking skills
S trong ability to use data, computer systems, and electronic health records in support of patient care delivery
U nderstanding of the latest evidence-based oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and cultural sensitivity information
