Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO leads a professional team of 8. The CFO is responsible for leading accounting, finance and administrative functions in a manner that aligns GAAP conformity, operational excellence with organizational mission, vision and values. Additionally, the CFO will develop and implement strategies that achieve high levels of efficiency, employee development and retention.
This CFO is expected to align accounting, finance and administrative functions to achieve a high-functioning center of excellence providing excellent information, services and decision-making support to the CEO Board of Directors and the entire management team.
Functionally, this role actively engages with organizational leaders and subordinates as a trusted advisor empowered to elevate organizational capabilities and financial stewardship. develops and implement strategies delivering high-value services. This includes but is not limited to, enabling excellent communications, collaborative relationships, strategic planning, and community relations.

Additionally, the Chief Financial Officer performs the following:
Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
Provides timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs, and regulatory issues
Plays an active role in ensuring organizational goals and stakeholder expectations are met
Partners with the leadership team as a trusted advisor to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
When required, attends meetings of the Board of Directors and committees
Provides timely and accurate information to the CEO, Board of Directors and management peers
Provides clearly written information addressing present and projected status to enable sound analysis and planning
Establishes current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies, subject to approval by the Chief Executive Officer
Dispenses advice, guidance and direction, on organizational policies and procedures
Oversees the adequacy and soundness of the organization's financial structure
Reviews operating results of the finance organization comparing goals to objectives and takes steps to correct unsatisfactory results.
Assures effective financial risk management tools are in place and monitored.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Masters preferred)
Experience: Legacy of successful financial accounting and administrative leadership for organizations with over $15 million of annual revenue
