WORK SCHEDULE: Days/Nights - 3 12hr shifts with alternating weekends
WORK TYPE: Full time .9 FTE 72 Hours biweekly payperiod
Provides nursing triage services and health advice for patients over the phone and in person if applicable.
Assesses and determines the patient’s acuity level and the need for medical support.
Provides results and education related to diagnostic testing to ensure continuity and quality of care. Responsible for accurate, appropriate and timely telephone and electronic messaging.

Demonstrates excellent clinical nursing skills, knowledge, judgment and leadership in a multidisciplinary environment.

Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrates the capability of making rapid and clinically accurate decisions based on evidence- based practice.
Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania. Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Must be BLS certified.
Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience required.
Triage or clinic related experience preferred.
Successful completion of scheduling training preferred.

Work is typically performed in a clinical office environment. Work is typically performed in a high-intensity, fast-paced setting.
