Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor Health Services Management & Policy

The Department of Health Services Management and Policy at East Tennessee State University invites applications for two Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor positions to support the growing academic programs of the department. Those are full-time faculty positions, with teaching responsibilities in the bachelor’s and master’s programs in public health/health administration, including in-class and online teaching. Faculty are also expected to engage in service activities to the institution and professional community, student advising, and to contribute to the growth of the Department’s academic programs. Our Department, housed in a CEPH-accredited school of public health (https://www.etsu.edu/cph/), offers a collegial and thriving environment with growing educational and research programs. The Department offers bachelors, masters and doctoral degree programs. Faculty enjoy strong working relationships with the region’s public health and health care systems and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across ETSU’s academic health science center. ETSU is a Doctoral Research Intensive university and home to about 15,000 students. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required Qualifications A master’s degree in health administration, or a closely related field, from a regionally accredited university, and 3 – 5 years of work experience in health administration.
